Baseball & Softball

 

Within Europe, many countries have a national federation for baseball, softball, or both. But few of the established teams have Christians as players or coaches. If there are Christians involved with teams, most have not identified the impact they can have on their teammates, coaches, and communities. 

 

 

Currently, we have strong partnerships with players and coaches in Italy, Hungary, and Germany. Through these partnerships, many opportunities for coaching and playing have been identified in these countries. The mission is to have at least one Christian player or coach on every baseball and softball team throughout the continent. 

 

 

Terry, in Hungary, has been working with Operation Mobilisation for over twenty years. He has grown the largest club in the country with 10 teams, including baseball and softball, ranging from Adult 1st Division down to tee ball. Terry understands the need for more Christian coaches and players to combat the cultural negativity on and off the field with positive reinforcement and character development.
